Mechanical Contractor Scholarship Awards

On June 18, 2008, the Mechanical Contractors Association presented their 2008 scholarships. The Management winner was Kevin Haberberger, son of Neil and Cindy Haberberger (Haberberger, Inc.) The two labor recipients were Mitchell Pilliard, son of Tom and Jeannie Pilliard, and Blake Welschmeyer, son of Daryl and Melody Welschmeyer. Shown with the winners are Patrick Kellett, Business Manager of Local 562, and Gary Tidwell, President of the MCA of Eastern Missouri.
Each year, the Mechanical Contractors Association presents two labor scholarships, and one management scholarship, to high school seniors who have demonstrated superior academics and community involvement during their high school years.
The award is open to the sons/daughters of any Mechanical Contractor Association member. An independent panel of judges chooses the winners each year.
